General Motor's Volt - "Fully charged by 2010"

They may have killed the electric car in the 90's, but GM's latest project, the Chevy Volt, has become the symbol of the company's future.  The Chevy Volt combines the power of battery and gasoline in a sleek, affordable, electric car.  A full charge lasts about 40 miles before a drop of gasoline is used.  With gasoline, the range is extended to 400 miles without a recharge. but who regularly drives over 40 miles and wouldn't get a chance to recharge this puppy though?? General Motors' aim is to provide the average american with a daily, gas-free commute.  In my opinion, the Volt will do just that.  With gas at $3/ gallon, the Volt will pay for itself in about 5 years.  Look out Toyota, this car will be HOT!!  Electric is the new gasoline.  Look for the Chevy Volt in 2010 and support our economy.

The Allman Brothers 'Eat a Peach' album is currently spinning on the iTunes.

Enjoy the sunny Friday afternoon, looks like it's going to be in the 80's all weekend.
